Module~ Chapter Quizzes and Exams: There will be 2-3 quizzes for each chapter and 1 exam for each chapter. No make- up quizzes or exams will be allowed. If a student misses a quiz or exam a zero will be issued for that quiz or exam.

Final Exam Graded Pronunciations~ We will be pronouncing terms together as a class each week to become familiar with these terms. I will require every student to sign in at each class and I will log each student's attendance. Your participation in pronunciation will decide your pronunciation part of your final exam. This counts towards 30 points of your FINAL EXAM grade (hello, this is an easy 30 points!). This is meant to be a participation exercise, if you give an effort, you receive credit. These are hard terms, you are not expected to know how to pronounce every term but the purpose is to hear them out loud so you may know them next time!
Mid term Exam: There will be NO midterm exam for this class
Final Exam: The final examination, covering chapters 1-16 will be administered online and is a proctored exam. See syllabus for due date.
Evaluation Methods A 3.0 or "B" is a passing grade. Only courses with passing grades count toward graduation. Other colleges transfer in only courses with passing grades. Many financial aid sources, including most employers, require passing grades. Additionally, earning less than a 3.0 in a class results in not being able to participate in the next level of courses in a program that requires this course as a pre-requisite. If you attempt to register for the next course sequence and have not passed the pre-requisite course, you will be dropped from that class.
