Welcome to this Cultural Connections course! I'm excited to explore with you the creative responses to historical times and events worlds (through examining the architecture, painting, sculpture, music, literature), particularly of the Western world from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and Baroque periods, all the way to our 21st Century! We'll also explore traditional African culture, values and traditions.
